The artist Diana, Lady Balfour of Inchyre, was born Diana Blanche Harvey, the daughter of Sir Robert Grenville Harvey, 2nd Bt. She married Harold Harington Balfour, 1st Baron Balfour of Inchrye, son of Colonel Nigel Harington Balfour and Grace Annette Marie Madocks, on 15 December 1921. A son, Ian Balfour, 2nd Baron Balfour of Inchrye, was born on 21 December 1924. She and Harold Harington Balfour, 1st Baron Balfour of Inchrye, divorced in 1946. She died on 4 June 1982. From 15 December 1921, her married name became Balfour. As a result of her marriage Diana Blanche Harvey was styled as Baroness Balfour of Inchrye on 5 July 1945.
