This portrait forms part of a montage of 46 unframed portraits of Chelsea Pensioners mounted 10 abreast in five rows as a single work. Chris spent a good number of years as the Assistant Protocol Officer at the Royal Hospital, responsible for planning and organising over 3,300 seats and tickets for the annual Founder's Day parade. On retirement from this role he handed over to Nick Clarke, who is also featured in this montage.
