A postcard from album presumably assembled by Gill herself, with small-format works showing Gill experimenting with different mark-making techniques. An atmospheric abstract work assumed to be painted with ink with some textures evident on the surface. Predominantly rich red and green with a yellow and white core are giving a sense of internal light. The work was perhaps printed with apparatus such as sponge, pen lid or even finger marks.
