Painter and teacher, born in Birmingham, attending its College of Art, then Royal Academy Schools. Had a solo show at Camden Arts Centre in 1967, later ones including Coracle Press Gallery from 1977. In 1980 Willetts was included in the critic William Packer’s selection for the Arts Council touring exhibition The British Art Show. The Arts Council holds Willetts’ 1973 acrylic on board On the Return Journey. Lived in Nottingham for some years, teaching at its College of Art.
