Sculptor and teacher who studied in Prague, Munich and Vienna, settling in London. Vogel showed at Venice Biennale before World War II, at the Battersea Park show in 1951 and there in 1960 his bronze Boy was lent by Harlow Art Trust. Vogel completed a group for Harlow New Town. In addition to works for State Museum in Prague and Nuremburg City Museum he created others for schools in Hoddesdon, Albrighton and Moreton Hall, and a figure study adjacent to St Peter’s Church, Hammersmith. Taught at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts.
