Artist in oil, gouache and watercolour, born in Bolton, Lancashire, daughter of the artists James S Taylor and Joyce B Taylor. She studied at Edinburgh University/College of Art, 1972–7, with Robin Philipson as head, then at Royal Academy Schools, with Peter Greenham as head, 1979–81. She was awarded the David Murray Landscape Scholarship and the Elizabeth Greenshields Scholarship, 1981–2. Became a member of MAFA. Her main works were still life and flower paintings in oil and landscapes. She showed at RA, RSA, NEAC, West Midlands College, Netherbow Arts Centre in Edinburgh and elsewhere. Had a solo show at Bolton Art Gallery, 1979, and it holds her work. Lived in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
