Painter and teacher, employing a rich palette and fine sense of design, born in Darlington, County Durham. He attended Bedford School, Luton School of Art, Kingston College of Art and Goldsmiths’ College. Rundall won a drawing prize at Luton and in 1993 at Drawings for All, Gainsborough’s House, Sudbury. He settled in Cambridge, working as an artist, freelance teacher and lecturer, from 1973–97 being senior lecturer in art and education at Homerton College, Cambridge University. Rundall took part in many mixed shows, including the RA Summer Exhibition, from 1971; Trafford Gallery; Phoenix and Angel Galleries, Lavenham; Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge; New Grafton Gallery and Fitzwilliam Museum and CCA Gallery, Cambridge. Solo exhibitions included Old Fire Engine House, Ely; Homerton College; Bedford School; and Bircham Contemporary Arts, Holt, 2000.
