Sculptor and teacher, born in London, but educated at Penarth County School, in Wales. He attended Cardiff College of Art, 1952–6, then Slade School of Fine Art 1956–7 and 1959–61 with a two-year break for National Service in Royal Air Force. Then began teaching in Bristol, although in the mid-1960s he briefly ran the Mechanical Theatre with the composer Martin White. Among a series of further teaching posts was senior lectureship at Manchester Polytechnic, then Hertfordshire College of Art and Design. Participated in many group shows, including Arnolfini Gallery in Bristol where he was an open exhibition prizewinner, also Howard Roberts Gallery in Cardiff and SEA. In 1967 was Donald Miller Memorial Prize winner for WAC and United Nations Association.
