Abstract sculptor in various materials, and teacher. He became head of sculpture at Kennington School of Art, having studied there under David McFall and before that under Karel Vogel at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. He was a fellow of RBS. Shows included Alwin Gallery; Guildford Art Gallery; New York Exhibition and Basle Arts Fair both from 1979; and RA. Bolton Art Gallery, Cambridge University and Trades Union Congress hold his work. Lived at Hinxworth, Hertfordshire.
