Painter, born in London, where he later worked. Miller studied at Maidstone College of Art, 1979–80, Brighton Polytechnic, 1981–4, Chelsea School of Art, 1984–5, and Goldsmiths’ College School of Art, 1985–7. Among group exhibitions he appeared in were Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge, and Anthony Reynolds Gallery, both 1985, with subsequent appearances at Anthony Reynolds, including solo shows from 1987. Miller also showed in the 1990 Whitechapel Open; John Moores Exhibition, Liverpool, in 1987, 1991–2 and 1997–8; and in About Vision, Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, and tour, 1996–7.
