Printmaker, born in Glasgow, Scotland. His inspiration was the character and incidents of humdrum life of the modern town. He studied at Dundee College of Art, 1963–8, later at Atelier 17, Paris. His exhibitions included Scottish Young Contemporaries, Edinburgh, and Painters and Printmakers of Dundee, in Glasgow, both 1968; Aspects of Printmaking at Dundee Museum, 1969; with Islington Studio, 1973; and William Weston Gallery. Scottish Arts Council and Victoria & Albert Museum hold examples.
