Painter, born in Zimbabwe. She studied at Central School of Art and Design, 1972–3; Leeds Polytechnic, 1973–6; and San Francisco State University, 1981–3. From 1983 she showed widely in Britain and abroad in group exhibitions, including Sacramento State Fair, California, 1983, where she won an Hon. Commendation; Camden Arts Centre, 1987; RAG to the USSR, Riverside Artists’ touring show of Soviet Union, 1988–9; Hunting Art Prizes at Mall Galleries, 1991; and Contemporary Art Fair, 1992. In 1989 she was artist-in-residence at Moscow Artists’ Union House of Creativity. Later solo shows included Cadogan Gallery, 1992, and Long & Ryle, 1999. Exotic locations and a skilled use of light and shadow were features of her pictures.
