Painter, commercial artist and teacher, educated in Hampstead, north London. Studied at Heatherley’s School of Fine Art, her teachers including R O Dunlop, Frederic Whiting and Bernard Adams. She was there 1938–40 and again in 1947, early in World War II having a spell in an advertising agency. Later taught art in Norfolk, settling there at Sheringham. Exhibited at Heal’s Mansard Gallery, RBA, ROI, Cooling Galleries and in Norwich.
