
Painter and teacher, born in Bath, Somerset. Studied at Hornsey College of Art, 1970–4, then Chelsea School of Art, 1974–5. From 1977 he taught at Trent Polytechnic. Among his shows were Athena Awards, 1987; Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge, 1988; John Moores Liverpool Exhibition, 1989–90; and Stephen Lacey Gallery, 2000. Later solo shows included several in Italy, including British School at Rome, 1994, and Casa Valdese, Rio Marina, 1997, Kite having won Abbey Awards in 1994 and 1996. Arts Council holds his geometrical abstract picture Diagonal 1, of 1976, bought from Acme Gallery. Lived in Ilford, Essex.
