Versatile artist, born in Denmark, where between 1959–63 she studied with Gutte Eriksen and Knud Jensen, then with Philip Pierce in Ireland, 1963–4, and from 1964–5 with David Illingworth in Scotland. There, after running a workshop in Denmark for two years, in 1968 she set up another at Balnakeil, in the extreme north. Later mixed shows included Kilmorack Gallery, Beauly, and Brown’s Gallery, Tain, both 1997, and Rhue Art, Ullapool, 1999. Glob exhibited solo widely in Denmark and Britain from 1966–7, later ones including Llantarnam Grange Art Centre, Gwent, and Galerie Uggerhoj, Denmark, both 1996. She carried out a series of ceramic and sculpture commissions in England and Scotland, including water sculptures for the Health Centre, Durness, 1994, and fountain and garden sculpture, County Durham, 1998.
