Painter, especially of portraits, and fine draughtsman, born in Quidenham, Norfolk as Jessie Caroline Dunbar Blyth. Studied at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, then from 1915 at Stanhope Forbes’ school in Newlyn, Cornwall, where she met her husband the printmaker Geoffrey Sneyd Garnier. Exhibited at RA, RWA and was a member of both the Newlyn and St Ives Societies of Artists. A talented embroiderer, she reproduced some of her own pictures. Lived in Newlyn.
