Sculptor, performance and installations artist, teacher, born Northampton. She studied at the School of Art there, at Ravensbourne College of Art and Chelsea School of Art for postgraduate work. Finn-Kelcey usually created for a particular space, such as Steam Installation, 1992, for Chisenhale Gallery, likened to a huge steam press. Group exhibitions included the Arts Council’s The British Art Show, 1984; Shocks to the System, Royal Festival Hall and tour, 1991; and Young British Artists II, Saatchi Gallery, 1993, which, like Arts Council, holds her work. Solo shows included Bureau de Change at Matt’s Gallery, 1988, Camden Arts Centre, 1997, and The Irish Museum of Modern Art, Kilmainham, 2003. Teaching included Byam Shaw School of Art.
