Painter of landscapes and seascapes, whose full name was Ralph Richard Angus Brent. He studied at St Martin’s School of Art with Bertram Nicholls. Exhibited widely in New Zealand and in Britain, including RA, RBA, Fine Art Society and in the provinces. Much of his work was done in Hampshire, where he showed in Southampton and Bournemouth and lived at Fordingbridge.
