Painter and draughtsman, born Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. Attended West Hartlepool School of Art and the Royal College of Art and was awarded a travelling scholarship. For a time she taught at Waltham Forest School of Art. Showed at New Grafton Gallery and elsewhere, and became RA in 1974, also being a member of RBA. Work held by Tate Gallery, Arts Council, RA, Ministry of Public Building and Works and provincial galleries. Lived in Heyshott, Midhurst, Sussex.
