Artist with no formal accredited training, born in London, whose father, the urological surgeon Professor John Peter Blandy, was a keen amateur artist. Kitty was a board member of the Malaspina Printmakers’ Society, 1988–90, and Artropolis 2001, 2000–1, and a member of the Printmakers’ Council. In 1990, she was awarded an Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant. Took part in many group exhibitions, including 13th International Print Exhibition, Kanagawa, Japan, 1987; Open Exhibition, RE, Bankside Gallery, 1989; Graffik 97, North Lincolnshire Museum and Art Gallery, Scunthorpe (work commended), 1997; and National Print Exhibition, Mall Galleries, 2002. Solo shows included Anna-Mei Chadwick, from 1993; Lumley Cazalet, 1995; and Elissa Cristall Gallery, Vancouver, Canada, where she lived, from 2001.
