Art UK actively generates revenue for participating partner collections through the Art UK Shop. This provides an opportunity for collections to participate in print-on-demand and to sell their own merchandise through our shared e-commerce platform.
For the period 2020–2021, Art UK returned approaching £100,000 to UK collections. The top-performing collections in the Shop generate significantly more than their partnership fee in revenue – for example, one collection achieved sales of more than £11,000 in the financial year 2020–2021. The Shop gives collections a genuine opportunity to generate significant revenue with no capital investment or risk.
